A quick look at my Steadicam, gimbal and camera operating work across live productions, commercials, music and documentary setups
What I do
Steadicam operator
Steadicam work for productions that need stable, dynamic movement without a second take. I’m used to working under real-time constraints, tight stage timings, and changing light conditions.
Gimbal operator
Gimbal operating for fast setups, backstage, crowd movement, corporate environments, and doc-style coverage where speed matters and the frame still needs to feel intentional.
Camera operator / additional operator
I can jump in as additional camera operator for multi-cam shoots, backstage units, interviews, b-roll, and coverage that needs reliable execution and clean handover to post.
Live & broadcast context
I’ve worked in live environments where coordination, pacing, and a calm head are not a “nice to have”, but the difference between a smooth show and chaos.
Where I work
Steadicam operator
I can work in Southern Germany (Munich, Augsburg, Stuttgart area), Switzerland (Zurich, Lucerne, Basel, Bern), and Austria (Graz, Linz, Salzburg). In several of these cities I have access to accommodation which keeps logistics lean for productions.
If your production is outside Europe, I can travel with a compact setup and build the rest around your local rental pipeline.

How I work
Before the shoot
A short call is usually enough to clarify: camera package, lensing, weight, transmission, blocking, stage/run order, comms, and handover.
On set
I work fast, I keep it simple, and I protect the schedule. If something becomes risky (weight, balance, timing, safety), I say it early.
After the shoot
If you need backups, card handover, or a clean post pipeline, I match your workflow. If you have a DIT or camera team, I integrate.
FAQ
Are you a Steadicam Operator or a “gimbal-only” operator?
Both. I operate Steadicam (vest/arm) when you need the classic floating camera language and endurance on long takes. I operate gimbals when smaller setups, speed and agility matter.
Where are you based?
I’m living nomadically, my radius includes Southern Germany, Switzerland, and Austria (Munich, Zurich, Basel, Bern, Graz, Linz, Salzburg).
I also take international bookings depending on schedule and logistics.
What is the payload capacity of your Steadicam?
I operate the Steadicam AERO 30, with a payload of up to 8 kg.
Do you provide video transmission?
Usually video transmission is provided by the production.
If no I can provide HDMI monitoring via Hollyland Mars 300 (approx. 250 ms latency), plus adapters depending on the camera setup.
Can we rent your Steadicam without you?
No. The rig is available only together with my operating services.
Do you have a driving licence for trucks / trailers?
Yes – I hold multiple licence classes including B/BE and truck/trailer (C1, C, C1E, CE) classes.
