About Me

The Journey Begins: A Love for Storytelling

I grew up by the serene shores of Lake Ammersee, where my passion for film began at the age of 10. My first brush with filmmaking was creating stop-motion videos with Playmobil figures alongside my father. We crafted stories filled with thrilling bank heists, chase scenes, and explosions—everything that sparked my imagination as a kid. Back then, YouTube was in its infancy, and our videos took off, amassing nearly 2 million views. We even won third place in a Playmobil competition and ranked in the top three results for “Playmobil” on YouTube for almost two years. This early success ignited my love for visual storytelling and marked the start of my journey as a filmmaker.

From Early Passion to Professional Pursuit

My interest in photography blossomed further at 13 during a photography course at my Waldorf school. My best friend and I were so inspired that we began knocking on doors in affluent neighborhoods, offering to do gardening work to save up for our first camera. That camera quickly became an extension of my hand. We would wake up at dawn to capture deer in the mist and film time-lapses of sunrises—moments that deepened my connection with the art of visual storytelling.

At 14, my father and I moved to Graz, Austria, where I attended a specialized film school. For the next five years, I immersed myself in an intensive curriculum that covered everything from storytelling and directing to cinematography and sound design. I was putting in 38 hours a week—equivalent to a full-time job—honing my craft.

By 16, I was already taking on professional gigs. What started as small photography jobs for friends of my parents evolved into producing commercials and event videos independently. I even worked as a Steadycam operator, refining my technical skills while navigating the world of commercial film production.

From Career to Calling: A Life-Changing Encounter

During the pandemic, I found myself quickly rising through the ranks, directing live productions with thousands of online guests and even being offered a position as the CEO of a production company. But something inside me knew that there was more to life than climbing the corporate ladder.

It was around this time that I met Estas Tonne, one of the most talented guitarists of our time. His music has the power to touch souls, and working with him opened my eyes to a new way of collaborating—one that was based on shared visions and mutual respect. When he invited me to film for him in Mexico, I didn’t hesitate. I cancelled all my jobs, and within 10 days, I found myself in Central America. Those two months in Mexico were transformative, revealing a world beyond the hustle of commercial projects.

A New Path: Stories with Purpose

Returning from Mexico, I knew I couldn’t go back to the same old routine. In the winter of 2021, I sold most of my belongings, gave up my apartment, and bought a one-way ticket back to Mexico. There, I met Ayla Schafer, a beautiful soul whose music carries messages of healing and connection. Together with her family, we traveled for months, and through her, I became deeply immersed in the Medicine Music scene. I’ve since filmed artists like Danit, Sam Garrett, Yaima, Chantress Seba, and Snatam Kaur, and now lead the film crew for the Medicine Festival near London.

Since 2021, I’ve been living a nomadic lifestyle, traveling through Central and South America, England, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland for projects. I often work with an editor now, which allows me to focus more on storytelling and being present in nature or on set with the people I film.

Crafting Stories that Matter

I’ve worked with major companies and on high-budget productions, but my passion increasingly lies in capturing stories that truly matter. Whether it’s a meaningful campaign or an independent artist, I dedicate my energy to projects that foster connection, inspire change, and contribute positively to this planet.

I’m not here to shoot just another corporate video; I want to create films that resonate deeply and authentically. I’m committed to projects that help shape a more harmonious world — one that I would be proud for my future children to grow up in. My goal is to use my talent in filmmaking to support anyone striving to make a difference, be it through art, music, or meaningful campaigns.

My Strengths: Authenticity, Precision, and Heart

  • Authenticity Over Perfection: I’m a perfectionist, which sometimes works in my favor and sometimes trips me up. But above all, I value authenticity. I’d rather capture a raw, real moment than a flawless façade. I strike a balance between quality and genuine emotion, avoiding anything that feels staged or superficial.
  • Capturing the Unseen: I have a knack for spotting beauty in fleeting moments and an ability to film intimate scenes without disrupting the energy in the room. This sensitivity allows me to document stories with a unique, unobtrusive style.
  • Mastery in Visual Storytelling: Artistic Excellence on a Global Scale
One of my core strengths lies in creating visually stunning and artistically crafted images that elevate any narrative. My ability to blend technical precision with creative vision allows me to produce cinematic-quality footage that stands on par with the highest industry standards. I’m committed to capturing each scene in a way that not only tells a story but also evokes a deep emotional response, making each frame a piece of art in itself. Whether it’s the play of light, the composition of a shot, or the dynamic movement of the camera, I strive to create visuals that are both impactful and memorable
  • Leading with a Smile: Whether it’s coordinating a large film crew or working one-on-one, I believe in leading with warmth and positivity. I’ve been told I bring a light-hearted touch to even the most intense projects, and I think that helps create an environment where creativity can truly flourish.

Vision: Stories for a Better Tomorrow

My vision is clear: I want to create high-quality, impactful films that inspire and contribute to a more connected and compassionate world. I’ve honed my skills to produce content that meets the highest standards, and I continue to deliver exceptional, Netflix-level quality. What has evolved is my focus: I now seek to collaborate with clients and projects that align with my values and share a commitment to positive change.

Whether it’s a powerful campaign, an artist with a meaningful message, or an organization working towards social or environmental progress, I am dedicated to using my talents to amplify stories that matter. I believe that compelling visuals and professional storytelling can drive real impact—and I’m excited to work with those who aspire to create a better future through their work.
